Overview

IdeaVault is a modern, fully responsive full-stack platform that enables users to discover, create, manage, and discuss ideas. Built with Next.js App Router, Express.js, MongoDB, and Better Auth, it supports email/password and Google authentication, protected frontend routes and backend APIs, and ownership-based authorization. Users can search and filter public ideas by title, category, and date, manage their profiles, and interact through a comment system with edit and delete functionality for their own comments. The application uses a separate REST API backend and focuses on reusable components, responsive UI, secure resource management, and a smooth user experience.
